Cover Design

Did you like the cover or where you thinking "Who the hell is that"? Did you like the color? How about its layout?

Let's talk about the Blue Bloods' cover design.

Actually, the cover was the first thing that "struck" me, sabi ko cover p lang, vampy na hehehe.. I liked it the first time I saw it. Especially the bite marks.

I was and still am wondering who the girl in the cover is.

Any ideas who you think it may be? Sky? Or some other girl?

the girl on the cover could most likely be Aggie, one of the blue bloods that was present in the party. she was the first one attacked by a silver blood. when her body was found, she had these bite marks on her neck.

hah, just finished reading Book 1: Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz...yah, i'm talking 'bout the cover design...

I still don't get the bite marks on the neck... I thought the bite marks was supposed to be behind the neck

I guess na it's for the ease of catching the attention of the readers since stereotypical na that's mostly where vamps bite their prey. Plus that's where the jugular veins are located (at both side of the neck) and the blood there is connected to the brain and the heart.

vamps are known for biting mostly sa neck for more blood flows there than any where else sa human body. and i think, the neck, next to the wrist is a comfortable spot to get a sip.hehehehe.

I'm mostly puzzled with the German cover. It features a blonde girl. While I have nothing against blonds, if the cover girl is supposed to be Schuyler--clearly, somebody in the publishing house hadn't read the book. Specifically the one where Schuyler is described as having black hair and blue eyes XDD

The French cover features Jack and Mimi, I think. My favorite cover has to be the Brazilian one, it features Schuyler definitely because the girl in front had clear blue eyes and black hair.

Actually, the German cover features Mimi, hence the blond hair.
